The hotel was a perfect place for enjoying a historic area, really close to a restaurant and historical sights and the historic downtown and the chapel and the venue. The queen room I stayed in was brand-new in good condition excepting the bathroom fan giving a slight sputter when first turned on. The staff where very amiable and provided excellent service. The location was quiet, just a pleasant stroll away from an art gallery.

From start to finish, the staff at the Olde Silk Inn made our stay special. The unique setting and antique furnishings added to the charm. Staff and management were exceptionally friendly, and the small details, classic furniture, and coffee room with buns were all excellent. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore nearby civil war sites and enjoy a morning run along the Rappahannock. Looking forward to returning soon!

The hotel was grand old, with ACCOMMODATING staff. The room was brand-new and beautiful with central heating, TV set, and a refrigerator included.

Our recent stay at the Inn At The Olde Silk Mill was a pleasant experience. The quiet and clean atmosphere made for a comfortable stay. The antique decorations throughout the inn added a touch of elegance.

There was no microwave in the room, although they did offer one in the breakfast room. The lounge, which was supposed to have 24-hour coffee and tea, did not have hot water for tea in the evening and there was no hot coffee available in the morning.

The rooms are incredibly comfortable and beautiful, with central heating, TV set and a refrigerator. Amazingly friendly and affable staff ensures you spend a wonderful time here. The location it has adjacent to downtown is particularly good and magnificent.

Grand old and quaint hotel, spent our time lovely. We were in a good and magnificent location within easy walking distance of a historic house. The restaurant was relatively close to the venue.

Dined at Orofino, it was not too far away from the venue.

The location it offers is peaceful, just off many historical attractions, West Virginia, and downtown. Go sightseeing and visit Kenmore Plantation and Gardens, set at a medium distance from the venue. There is good choice of excellent food for breakfast.
